RECLAIM STABILITY

Recall Recklessness; Reclaim Stability
Why is Recall Needed?
Since taking office less than a year ago, Chris Ropeta has created unnecessary conflict, undermined township governance, and caused significant financial waste. His so-called “watchdog” theatrics have proven to be nothing more than disruption, damaging operations, and COSTING TAXPAYERS TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS while weakening the reputation of the township as a whole.
Instead of being part of solutions, his actions have demonstrated blatant disregard for the responsibilities that come with holding elected office. It’s clear that Chris Ropeta is serving his own needs rather than the needs of the Township. It’s time for voters to denounce his actions with a signature and a vote!

NO Chris Ropeta, you are NOT, “Doing what you were elected to do!”
In less than a year in office Ropeta…
- Attempted to illegally remove our Planning Commissioners
- Abused the authority of the Township Board
- SUED the township TWICE
- Was censured
- Was charged with misfeasance and malfeasance
- Was removed as Ex-Officio to the Planning Commission
- Refused to attend board training and team building
- Attempted to make our Township out to be the enemy of the people
- Perpetuates false and incomplete information
- Repeatedly undermined Township’s ordinances
You have an opportunity to make a difference, to make a better choice for the future of this community. Recalling Chris Ropeta is vital to restoring order, trust, and responsible governance. It’s time to take a stand and be a part of a stable future for Tyrone Township!

What happens if the recall petition is successful?
If the recall petition is successful, a special election will be scheduled for spring of next year. A ballot will be issued naming Chris Ropeta as the incumbent candidate vs a new candidate. Voters will have a choice to choose stability for the future of our township.
Will the recall cost money?
The recall campaign itself will be 100% funded by residents donating to the cause because they want a better future for this community. If the petition is successful, a special election will be held in the spring of 2026 with only this issue on the ballot. The special election will cost less than the legal costs Chris Ropeta has already brought upon the township in his 10 month tenure. WE CANNOT AFFORD ANOTHER 3 YEARS OF ROPETA IN OFFICE!
